The Chattanooga Chess Dojo collects contact information forparents of players such as name, phone number and email address along withinformation about the child such as age, school, chess experience and if thestudent has received prior chess training.
In some cases, students may receive benchmarking tests to identify if their chess improvement has led to improvements in concentration, mathematics and logical thinking. These results may be shared with the public but will have all student information aside from age and gender of students anonymized.
This information is used to register students for classes,private lessons and summer camps as well as providing metrics on the level of success students receive from training.
Data demonstrating student improvements in chess and other forms of thinking may be utilized for future marketing purposes, however all identifying information in regards to students besides age and gender will not be shared.
